Black Label Radio is a dance music collective and mix radio station rooted in Providence, Rhode Island. We run underground techno and club nights across Rhode Island, broadcast recorded DJ sets from our residents, and rent the sound systems those nights are thrown on.

what the nights sound like

Techno is the spine of it, but not the whole of it. Across a Black Label Radio night you will hear hardgroove and hypnotic techno, breaks and electro, ghettotech, juke and footwork, dembow, and house — often inside the same set. The rooms are small, the system is loud, and the focus is the floor rather than a stage.

We also run shows and supply sound alongside other promoters in the region, most often AFTER.PVD, and our residents play elsewhere in New England through the year.

The same PA and DJ rigs these nights are thrown on are available to rent. Full HSD and QSC sound systems, subwoofers, monitors and Pioneer DJ equipment, across Providence, Rhode Island and New England — with delivery, setup and a live sound engineer if you want one.
